In connecting the dots effectively small business owners and entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to have an amazing impact in the world. In doing that for myself, I was able to truly understand my purpose and I'm here to help others do the same. Its of paramount importance that you place yourself and your well-being at the centre point of you're purpose - in effect, your purpose is and should always be YOU. Show up for yourself first and you'll be like a magnet to those around you and bring them up with you
In business specifically, we all need to find, what I call, The Business Owner Sweet Spot and become a true BOSS.
For me, that sweet spot is at the intersection of creativity, passion and prosperity with an underlying sense of real purpose starting with showing up for myself and having a clear and internalised mission of what I want to achieve for for myself and for other people.

I entered the recruitment industry with Elan IT and within 2 moths I realised I'd found something I was bloody good at, more to the point... I really enjoyed it.
Over the next 6 years I developed a reputation for winning major contracts and developing greenfield opportunities that generated strong profits. I still had that chip on my shoulder
Relocating to Europe I took a major step in personal development to work with as long-time friend and business partner to launch a Data and Lead Generation business in the Financial and Legal Service markets, opening up two call centres and developing all GTM assets and client relationships.
I worked on a few major transformation projects for some of the worlds largest Tech companies, including Microsoft and Vodafone - Pull the hood up and you'll quickly realise they have more problem's than we SME guys
Realising the dream of starting my own recruitment business, we initially focussed our efforts on key clients in Media and Tech in the US, Europe and APAC. under the DTT brand, wee grew this business to c£2m ARR and in 2020 sold some core assets to a larger tech recruiter for six figures. At this point, the I'd gotten rid of that chip on my shoulder and replaced it with a level of humility and inner confidence, but still, looking back I knew I had more to offer.
M&G Executive Search was born in 2020, with a focus on developing business through partnerships in Private Equity and exclusive focus on retained search, whilst very lean we were able to create strong value in the business with over 250K in EBIIT and another 6 figure exit. The truth is... At this stage, the truth is, I was desperate to get out of the job I had created for myself
When I came back to the UK full-time I knew I could deploy my knowledge and skills in a way that wasn't just about making a profit - This realisation has lead me on a journey of self-discovery through mentoring and helping others
Immediately upon mastering my own time and future destiny I began a journey of utilizing my skills to have an impact on others on a voluntary basis - joining The Prince's Trust, giving up a few hours a week as a Progressional and Business mentor, I've helped hundred of young people get back into Education, Work or Business

Help to Grow is a UK Government scheme that is setup to support SME business leaders develop new skills, reach new customers and ultimately increase profits. As a business mentor I work with owners and directors of small businesses on a voluntary basis to help support them on their growth journey,

Everyone has struggle of some kind, its what makes us who we are to a large degree. I'm no different - My learning difficulties, my background, my difficulty dealing with some of the challenges that life has thrown at me leading to bouts of depression... Those are all things that have created what you see today. I'm proud to say that I'm a better human being as a result of each and every experience I've had - The lessons I've learned are what power my clarity today and what I want for my future.
Some days still feel like a struggle... But with my mission and purpose on point, I've got the tools to deal with those times.

I still call Yorkshire home and it's where I spend most months of the year with my partner and three children. We love to travel and have a second home in southern Spain to catch more sun.
I love cycling, football and getting after it in the gym a few times a week. When I'm not doing that, I'm having fun with other entrepreneurs that want to get after it in life and in business
